Our Story
Statecraft Journal is a student-led platform dedicated to publishing engaging writing on global affairs. It was created with the aim of providing young students with a dedicated space to explore the issues shaping our societies, contribute their own perspectives and take part in discussions.
We believe that students have meaningful and valuable perspectives on global issues but lack the opportunities to engage with important contemporary debates beyond the classroom. Through researching, writing and publishing articles, students can develop their analytical and critical-thinking skills while becoming familiar with the editorial and publication process.
Our articles explore a wide range of subjects, from legal developments and political institutions to economic policy, international relations and global challenges. We welcome different perspectives and encourage our writers to approach these topics with curiosity, developed reasoning and an open mind.
Statecraft Journal is also committed to building a community that creates further opportunities for young people to exchange their ideas, strengthen their writing and connect with others who share their interests.
